Depart your hotel this morning and travel via some of Florida’s backroads to Tarpon Springs, Florida’s small Greek community sitting on the Gulf of Mexico. Your guide will point out to you many of the more well buildings and housing while telling you about local stories which make this community what it is. Tarpon Springs is a small historic community with an unusual mix of Greek culture, Victorian and Floridan architecture. Incorporated in 1887 this community is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the west coast of Florida and was named after the tarpon springing from its bayou.
