Date(s):
September 14, 2017
Venue:Austin, TX
Website:Not available
Fee(s):This event has a fee
Description: For such a short document, trademark cease and desist letters are full of risks. Beside the constant danger of the potential defendant filing a declaratory judgment action, playing with incomplete facts or interfering with a potential defendant’s customer relationships can result in an unintended lawsuit. This presentation will provide an overview of trademark dispute do’s and don’ts. Some recent actions that went viral will be discussed along with strategies to avoid common mistakes. Presented by: Matthew Hintz of Lowenstein Sandler LLP and Angela Dai, of Novick, Kim, & Lee, PLLC.
