Since the USPTO first issued rules governing IPR, CBM, and PGR proceedings in 2012, it has sought comments from the public on what, if any, changes should be made.  On August 19, 2015, the USPTO released a second package of proposed rule changes based on input received from the public.  These changes are more involved than a first set of “quick-fix” changes release in March 2015.  This webinar will provide a fulsome discussion of the more involved second package of proposed rule changes.  Presented by:  Janet Gongola of the  US Patent & Trademark Office; Todd Baker of Oblon McClelland Maier & Neustadt, LLP; and Joseph Palys of Paul Hastings.
