A presentation from the Front & Center Discussion Series. Companies and law firms have been able to reduce costs in recent years by exporting patent tasks, such as, searching, application drafting, and preparing illustrations, overseas to countries like India. This webinar will explore both the benefits and risks of such exportation. In particular, this program will investigate concerns over cost, quality, and oversight of these export programs, including strategies for incorporating export work into already established patent filing programs. The program also will demonstrate proven IP filing programs that combine exporting work to reduce costs, with US counsel oversight to improve quality. No CLE credit available.
Presented by: Alexander Franco (moderator) - Patent GC; David J. Arthur - Xerox Corporation; Michael Chernoff - MDB Capital Group; Angela Grayson - Walmart; Lata Setty - UnitedLex.
